No recorded interviews are published here yet. Our existing stories draw on named historical sources and research; they are a separate way to explore Oklahoma’s musical life.
Your voice, with your agreement.
We begin with a conversation about what you would like to share and how it may be used. New interviews normally use a first name for public display unless a different name is expressly approved. Private identity and contact records are kept separately from public interview files.
An interview is published only with agreed permission, an approved public name, a recording and a readable transcript. Video also needs accurate captions. Recollections are presented as personal accounts; factual context can be checked against other sources.
We can discuss sensitive passages, editorial corrections, accessibility and permission before publication. Please do not send a recording or private documents until arrangements have been agreed.

The public interview should serve the story, not expose the whole archival file. Recording arrangements, private contact details and permission records stay separate from the material approved for readers and listeners.
A first name remains the default public identification unless a different treatment is expressly approved. Any use of the Oklahoma Musicians YouTube channel should support these interviews and their permanent website record, with the same agreed publication limits.
